Our Core Beliefs:
Austinville CRC is a church of the Christian Reformed denomination.
Christian marks us as believers and followers of Jesus Christ our only Savior and Lord.
Reformed comes from the word Reformation, the religious movement in Europe in the 16th Century, when men re-examined the Bible to know God’s will, which led to the establishment of our protestant churches. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, our only rule for life and faith.
Church indicates that we belong to that group of true believers which extends throughout the whole world and history.
We teach among our basic truths: The Trinity, the Virgin Birth, the Suffering and Death on the Cross of Jesus Christ, His Bodily Resurrection and His return in Glory, that man is a sinner before God and can be saved by grace alone through faith in Christ and His redeeming work on the cross.
We seek to strengthen our members through: Biblical preaching, Bible Study, warm fellowship and Christian care. We seek to welcome others through: personal contact, joyful worship, welcoming witness and addressing community needs.
